Mosaic Acquires Launch

Canadian-based retail activation agency bolsters Mosaic service offering

Today Jeff Rogers, President of Acosta Mosaic Group (AMG) North America, announced that Mosaic has acquired LAUNCH!, a privately owned, Canadian-based experiential marketing and retail activation agency. LAUNCH!’s suite of services further strengthens Mosaic’s offering, providing a broader range of marketing solutions to clients across Canada.

“LAUNCH! currently dominates the Canadian market when it comes to the retail sampling activation business which is a perfect complement to our capabilities” said Rogers. “This acquisition will allow us to offer this highly valued service to our clients, while increasing our retail footprint across the country.”

For LAUNCH!, this new venture presents its current clients with a broader range of services including retailer marketing, sales and merchandising, package design, consumer promotion, public relations and social media, in addition to increased scale across North America.

Dr. Oetker and LAUNCH! get you into the game!


Dr. Oetker and LAUNCH! are excited to announce the release of the new Dr. Oetker Casa di Mama Field Goal Fury Augmented Reality App

Dr. Oetker’s Casa di Mama is the official pizza of the CFL and in order to bring the excitement of the game to Canadians, LAUNCH! wanted to bring the game closer to consumers by bringing the pizza box to life! 

The Field Goal Fury app is an extension of the current Casa di Mama shopper marketing on-pack promotion which gives consumers a chance to win a trip to the 102nd Grey Cup in Vancouver, British Columbia. In addition to the 1.5 million specially marked boxes promoting the contest, LAUNCH! will also be responsible for sending two teams of Dr. Oetker brand ambassadors across the country on a summer-long tour that will see them setting up at popular events and festivals and serving over 240,000 slices of hot and fresh Dr. Oetker pizza.

When the app detects the promotional pizza box, it will instantly turns the box into a 3D football stadium where users will try to kick field goals! Field Goal Fury can be played online at or through the Field Goal Fury app available for download in the Apple App Store or the Google Play store. In order to get the full augmented reality experience, consumers will need to keep their specially marked box of Dr. Oetker’s Casa di Mama pizza. 

LAUNCH! worked with Pixel Pusher to develop the App which launches in Canada on Monday, June 16th and will be updated periodically until the end of October. Users can expect a fully immersive 3D experience that will see them play through three challenging game modes which include:

Field Goal Kicking: Players get 10 kicks to score as many points as possible. Accuracy counts in this one!

Against Time: In this challenging game players will have 60 seconds to kick as many field goals as possible. 

Target Challenge: Players will have 10 chances to hit as many moving targets as possible. Remember to keep an eye out on the wind!
